LA CASCINA

E chi l’avrebbe mai immaginato che un pollaio fatiscente sarebbe potuto diventare una splendida dimora ai piedi del Castello di Soave? Solo dei visionari come noi e i proprietari della cascina: e “se lo puoi immaginare, lo puoi fare” (cit. Walt Disney).

Ovviamente la cascina è stata totalmente sventrata, la struttura rinforzata o ricostruita, la muratura ripristinata esternamente come quella esistente, ma resa energeticamente efficiente internamente e poi gli spazi sono stati cuciti tutti intorno ai due giovani proprietari.

Ne siamo orgogliosi? Di più: ne siamo innamorati!

And who would have imagined that a dilapidated chicken coop could have become a splendid home at the foot of the Soave Castle? Only visionaries like us and the owners of the farmhouse: and "if you can imagine it, you can do it" (cit. Walt Disney).

Obviously the farmhouse has been totally disemboweled, the structure reinforced or rebuilt, the masonry restored externally like the existing one, but made energy efficient internally and then the spaces were all sewn around the two young owners.

Are we proud of it? More: we are in love with it!
